Dr. Kowal and his awesome team, Mel & Arianna have changed my life and more importantly my brain forever. After suffering from PTSD for over 45 years I am now free of my violent outbursts and impulsive, destructive behaviors. I am forever in your debt.

Dr. Kowal overcharges significantly for a quantitative EEG and bills not just for the procedure but also adds on other charges for the analysis, well over the accepted rate. He then insists that the charge of $495.00 for the second visit for the analysis be paid PRIOR to the visit. This in addition to the $450.00 for the qEEG which he does not even perform; instead he uses a technician. A psych interview precedes all of this and is billed as such in order to bill insurance for the pre qEEG. This is highly unethical and is one of the reason's that people in the medical profession and elsewhere get a poor opinion of neurofeedback. It is clear this is all about money.
