He explained to me what the pain pills were doing to my body and brain. After a couple of months of slowly taking less, I am much more "clear-headed". I can remember my grandsons birthday party. I appreciate him helping me get off. I'm only on one - two a day now.

First time I had a pain management physician talk to me for almost an hour about my back and medication. I didn't like his view on medications, but since he spent so much time with me I gave him another chance. He's a good doctor but he does not believe in pain medication. I love his staff!!

This doctor wanted to focus more on giving you drug tests and charging your insurance about 8 THOUSAND dollars for those SIMPLE tests than auctually caring about his patients. After an MRI, 3 years ago which he ordered and never said much about it other than wanting to give me injections for...when I should have been referred to a neurologist THEN for what now has become a very serious matter. He was in my mind, a dealer for narcotics as well as a scammer of insurance, pushing devices and ridiculous URINE test with VERY HIGH PRICES.

I went to see Dr.Lai on Business ctr and he gave me hope and honesty.I have severe pain and had been mis diagnoised by my Primary care physician.Dr.Lai was patient and speaks very clear and appears to know what could ease my pain

DR LAI CAN BE CONDESCENDING TOWARDS HIS PATIENTS. HE IS NOT SYMPATHETIC AND IT SEEMS TO BE ALL ABOUT THE MONEY. DR LAI USED TO BE A GREAT DOCTOR BUT HAS GONE DOWNHILL OVER THE YEARS AS FAR AS HIS CARE FOR THE WELL BEING OF HIS PATIENTS. HE PUSHES CERTAIN MEDICATIONS THAT DON'T WORK WELL WHILE TAKING AWAY/CEASING THE ONES THAT DO WORK. I FEEL HE IS GETTING SOME KIND OF KICK BACK FROM THESE MAIL PHARMACIES AND THAT IS WHY HE CHAGES THE MEDICATIONS. I AM LOOKING FOR A NEW DR.

does not hear what you say, tells you medication will not help if you are in pain you are doing something you should not do. disagree with him and you are no longer his patient he will release you from his care

The staff informed me of what to expect at my first visit. I waited about 30-45 minutes. The doctor was thorough and honest. Not exactly what I wanted to hear. Prescriptions were not a problem. He does not believe on continuing narcotics. :( Staff was friendly throughout the office. Expect to pay at every visit or they will reschedule. (Other patients were not happy about that). Overall, I'm okay. Trying different drugs with physical therapy. I've come to realize I can't stay on narcotics, I'm not myself, I'm not as attentive to my grand kids. He was honest, yet pleasant about my condition.

The office staff and nurses are wonderful. Dr. Lai is condescending and does not listen to what you say or how you feel. He seems to walk in with a predetermined opinion on everything and will not deviate regardless of your symptoms or pain level.
