Dr. James Joseph Lamia, MD

I've been seeing Dr Lamia for over two years now. His office staff is fantastic! The office manager Annemarie is wonderful and always happy to help. The asistants Rachel and Victoria are the most courteous, prompt and pleasant people to deal with. Dr Lamia is very thorough and caring at each of my visits! The only downside is that, sometimes, there's a longer wait than I'd like for there to be. In the end, its worth it!

I have been a patient of Dr Lamia for over 5 years, thankfully my appointments have been for checkups and were scheduled, recently I felt sick and called the office and spoke to Wilda, to start she was rude and annoyed that I needed to see the Doctor she informed me that if i come in I would have to wait a long time she recommended I go to that emergency room, I arrived at the office and there was only one person waiting to be seen, never the less I sat there for an hour and thirty minutes waiting while all patients that arrived after me were seen, this is obsessively the policy of the Doctors to discourage patients to come in without an appointment.

The office is busy but they are doing a great job of scheduling appointments and keeping up with the appointment times. The office is very clean and the staff does a good job of returning patient's calls and staying on top of things. The doctor is knowledgeable and listens to the patients. Very professional and compassionate. I definitively recommend this doctor.
