Dr. James Hillel Lapkoff, MD

Dr lapkoff treated me at the Harris regional er in sylva. I arrived in extreme pain in my back shoulder and arm. I had previously had xrays and ct scans which turned up no abnormalities. But I knew something was seriously wrong and I asked him to conduct an MRI. I didnt want the pain to be treated and not find out the problem. He ordered one and I'm glad he did because the MRI revealed herniated discs in my neck. He was very kind to me even though i was difficult to deal with due to the pain i was in. He had a very good bedside manner and he LISTENED to me! I was very grateful and appreciative for him. He sent a referral to a spine specialist and I am set up with physical therapy and am being treated for my condition. I had previously been to the er 3 times and was misdiagnosed and sent away every time but not this time. Thank you Dr Lapkoff! You really saved me!!!!!
