Dr Leatherman is very professional and seeks to learn about his patients. He does not hurry them and asks open ended questions to get all the facts. Been seeing him for many years and would be lost without him.

Good listener...but I rather be spoken to as adult, not a child. I was asked had anyone discussed my chronic stage 3 kidney disease with me? That was the first I had heard of it ...in ten years. I was only told to stay hydrated and to exercise. I researched the disease and found out a SPECIAL DIET is recommended as well. I am going to a specialist for a second opinion.

Dr. Leatherman is a great physician. Very attentive and caring.

Dr. Leatherman reduced my diabetic neuropathy pain medicine without even discussing it with me. When confronted, he claims that he knows what is best and how dare I question his authority. I told him what he could do with his decision to play God with my life. I found a neurologist whose painful nerve conduction tests which I endured proved just how bad my neuropathy is; and proved the extent of the neuropathy damage which has occurred ever since I woke up partially paralyzed from a diabetic coma. I am the youngest person to ever have this much proven damage.

I love Dr Leatherman. His office hours are flexible to your needs without you having to take off work. I also like the fact that the lab/xray is down the hall.
