Dr. James Yong Lee, DO

Worst care ever. If you have anything more serious than a common cold find a different doctor’s office. The young lady at the front desk and the lab technician were both caring and concerned but the rest of the staff are horrible. I am 63 years old, I went to them with an urgent need for an anxiety medication I’ve taken in the past and know works well for my current needs which will probably last 3 to 4 months. I have never abused any medication nor have I ever been addicted to any medications. In my 43 years as an adult I’ve only needed this type of medication 4 or 5 times and have never needed it longer than few months. The Dr (not Dr Lee) absolutely refused to write a prescription for a medication I know works well for me claiming it was too addictive. She then prescribed a small amount (20 pills) of the lowest dose of a medication I’d never heard of along with a long term anti anxiety medication that I don’t believe I need. I was not given a written prescription, they told me… since it was a controlled substance they had to fax it to my pharmacy. I looked the medication up and it was similar to the medication I ask for but as addictive if not more than the medication I ask for. I took the medications as prescribed and by day three I was experiencing severe physical side effects combined with the fact the medication was doing nothing to help the anxiety and stress and caused insomnia. Not being able to sleep was also one of the concerns I addressed with the Dr the day of my visit. On day 4 I stopped taking both medications and contacted their office in the morning via email through their website with a detailed explanation of what was happening. When I had not heard from them by late that afternoon I called and had to leave a voicemail. I still had not heard from them by late afternoon the following day so I called again. This time I actually got to speak to the Dr I had seen. She told me the side effects I was having weren’t usually associated with those medications ( every one of the side effects I was having were listed on both medications according to the paperwork given to me by my pharmacy). She ask how many of the anti anxiety pills I had taken and I told her approximately 5 or 6 ( the instructions on the bottle said two a day as needed for anxiety and one at bedtime for sedition which would have been 12 pills over a 4 day period. I ask her what other options were available since she refused to give me a prescription for the medication I knew worked, she put me on hold saying she had to talk to her supervisor (?) when she cane back on the line she said she would write me a short term prescription for the medication I originally ask for. I said short term as in 2 to 3 months and she said that was long term and she’d write me a prescription for 20 pills and I’d have to see a psychiatrist to get a prescription for more ( I’ve never been to a psychiatrist in my life and have gotten a prescription for this medication from a MD in the past) she then told me I had to bring the remaining anxiety medication back to the office first. After my shock of being basically accused of being a crazy old drug addict I told her how insulting that was and she then started talking about the opioid crisis, at that point I gave up, hung up and gathered up the two bottles of medication to return them to the office. I did count the remaining anxiety medication pills and there were 15 out of the 20 left. They took the medication to a back room to presumably count the pills and the receptionist came out with a hand written prescription for the medication I originally ask for ( remember that the first medication she prescribed had to be faxed only to the pharmacy but was supposedly far less addictive than what I wanted) along with a referral to a psychiatrist that when I looked him up had a 2 out of 5 star rating. I will never step foot in that office again and if you’re smart neither will you.

Been my primary care for many years. Efficient & excellent care.

I called to make an appointment for a physical and couldn't get in for a little over a month from the time I called. When I got to my scheduled appointment 15 minutes early (to complete paperwork), I waited 20 minutes until I was called to complete my paperwork. There were only two people in the waiting room when I arrived. After waiting 50 minutes and seeing many people come in after me be called, I asked how much longer I had to wait. I was given the excuse that they were busy and I would be next. I waited another 10 minutes and left.

Prescribed 2 medications that caused a tragic reaction for my father. Pharmacist even called the Doctor to warn of the possible bad reaction and the doctor sent the medication anyway. My father went into extreme distress and was taken to hospital by ambulance. He never recovered. When I left several messages for the doctor, he never responded or called the hospital. I took my mother away from this doctor's practice. Be careful

My husband had a terrible reaction to 2 medications prescribed by Dr Lee's office. The pharmacist even called the doctor's office and warned that the medications should not be prescribed together but they prescribed it anyway. My father was in intensive care and when we called the doctors office about it they never even called to see how my husband was. He never recovered. He was in hospice for 2 months and passed away. No calls from Dr Lee or his staff

Most rude office staff ever.

Dr. Lee is a compassionate, knowledgeable physician. He is genuinely "patient-friendly" and has excellent diagnostic skills. Very lucky to have him.

About a week ago, I walked in at their closing time and the staff welcomed me with a smile. They treated me with kindness. I went to their office for a cut and needed stitches. Their front office helped me with my paperwork and got me in quickly. Love their office. Dr Lee and his staff are AWESOME
