Dr. James Alexander Lee III, MD

Dr. lee didn't help me at.all!! He refused to listen to my problems or write any prescriptions. I had to make an emergency appointment with another Dr. to get help. I complained to manager about him and he is under review.

He's like a trusted mechanic for your body. Very personable. Speaks to you in plain English. He has dialed in health care for both my wife and myself.

Dr Lee was very busy, but has a genuine caring manor and allowed enough time for my care and additional questions

I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Lee if you are looking for an honest, sincere teammate in your health care. It's quite surprising to me that Dr. Lee has negative feedback floating around the internet. I've had crappy doctors and Dr. Lee does not fall into that category. I've been a patient of Dr. Lee's for just over two years. I have a chronic pain condition that causes a million other problems, has virtually no effective treatment, and frustrates just about everyone involved. After years of patronizing, chastising, and lecturing, I stumbled up Dr. Lee's profile on some refferal site. I was looking for a grown up doctor who had been around the block a couple times and who might be less influenced by the latest, greatest miracle pill but stays current with research. Sporting a long graying ponytail and a natural smile, Dr. Lee fit the bill. My first visit with Dr. Lee was interview and that is exactly what I told him when I arrived. While his surprise was evident, Dr. Lee… responded positively, answered questions thoughtfully, and asked questions for clarification and additional information. We don't agree on everything but his sincerity and willingness to answer questions during that initial meeting speaks volumes about his character and has been an accurate indicator of how he approaches my illnesses and treatment options. Now for the star ratings: 'Courteous Staff' (3 of 4) - Dr. Lee's nurses are great! Definitely 4 star nurses. Super personable, highly professional, and efficient. However, the office staff at Riverway could benefit from a few more smiles and a little better organization. Each month, I have to pick up a handwritten prescription and more often than not, it's location is unknown. So what should take less than 5 minutes usually takes upward of 20 minutes. 'Bedside Manner' (3 of 4) - Thin walls at RiverWay Anoka Clinic... If you are looking for a magic pill to relieve you of personal responsibility for your health and someone to simply agree with you, look elsewhere. He can be quite blunt if you aren't doing the things you need to do to maintain or manage your health. Dr. Lee's Anoka clinic is moving to new facilities farther from my home increasing my drive time and decreasing convenience however I will happily follow him and his nurses.
