Dr. James Edward Leedy, MD

I was a patient of Dr James Leedy for close to 20 years. If I was diagnosed with something he Always explained and answered my questions and showed the highest level of compassion. He even went over and beyond when I was going through a VERY STRESSFUL EMOTIONAL situation in my life he reached out his hand and told me I'm not alone and he helped me get well and with my grief too. THE BEST DR IN THE WORLD TO ME NO ONE WILL EVER COMPARE. HE IS MISSED NOW THAT HE RETIRED SEVERAL YEARS AGO

This doctor was very unkind to me. He misdiagnosis me and when I needed to go back for help with this concern he chewed me out and told me I had become a bother. He hurt my feelings and used a ugly word to me in the office during one of my visits. Never been treated this way before by any professional. Tried to turn things around to suit him and had no concern for me as a patient. Would not recommend anyone going to a doctor that would treat you mean and charge you a bill.

I have severe panic and anxiety. Dr.Leedy understood the severity of my situation and attended to it immediately. He offered good advice and alternative options. His care far exceeded any other doctor I have ever seen. I am so grateful for his expertise and commitment to quality care. I had to see him 3 times for the same issue and he never becalmed annoyed or irritated. I am thankful Dr.Leedy is my PCP, I trust him and admire his bedside manner.

Dr. Leedy has been our family dr. for YEARS and we have total confidence in his diagnosing.

I had a Medical check-up with a few other concerns.I felt rushed & not enough time was given to list symptoms.Had to remind him for medication while rushing to his next patient.Blood test were taken and no diagnosise given. At this stage I don't fell like throwing money into an endless pit. I'm looking for another Doctor.

Dr. Leedy is a caring, friendly Dr. taking the time to really listen to his patients. His P.A. Nadima Adi is a very nice, knowledgable woman and I trust her as much as I do Dr. Leedy. The only problem I have found is that sometimes my prescriptions have not been received by my pharmacy when they have been sent by fax. The nurses have assured me that they were sent but still the pharmacy has not received them, this problem may be at the pharmacy's end though and no fault of Dr. Leedy's office, so I would recommend that if you have a medication that must be faxed that you request that a personal call from the office be made to the pharmacy. Otherwise I am quite satisfied with the level of care received from both Dr. Leedy and Nadima Adi and the nurses there. The office is comfortable, all staff friendly and helpful and waiting time is short. I have never waited more than 15 minutes.

Dr. Leedy is the best Dr.I have ever had. He understood my questions and was very helpful. I live outside Washington now. I wish there were a Dr. here like him. I feel so much better. Thanks to him

Dr. Leedy is the only GP I've visited over the last 30 years. I have no intention of seeing anyone else until he retires.
