Dr. James Ernest Lessenger, MD

I do not care for him as everytime I see him he is rude and blames anything I tell him on "old age" I am in generally good health and only in my late 50's. I feel that he has no time, once when he saw me in the waiting room he hollared out "are you here to see me?" I said no, he replied "good, I was getting ready to leave" what kind of remark is that? Also, I have kidney disease, one kidney. For any kind of pain med's he told me to take Advil. That would hurt my kidney, so why would he suggest Advil knowing of this? He won't refer me to a foot doctor either. I was new to La Clinica and on my second visit I forgot to bring my med's with me and he told me if I forgot them again, I would be asked to leave! Also saying he isn't paid to read my mind! No warning. I was in tears. As I read the other reviews, I am glad people have been happy with him, as for me, I am going to try to find another Doctor!

Dr Lessenger has been really attentive towards my medical needs and helping decide the best treatments for me. He always inquires about my family and has been honest & up front.

It's really great when you doctor had positive actitude, listen about the condition and take time to discus or explain whats it's the most best treatment for the condition....
