Dr. James Yihsing Li, MD

I had the ClosureFast procedure done on both legs in the summer of 2019. It was an extremely painful procedure! I followed all of the doctor's orders, but due to circumstances beyond my control, (two emergency surgeries in the space of three weeks), I was unable to follow up with sclerotherapy for the more superficial veins. A year later, the varicose veins are still present and the ClosureFast procedure, as well as the $3,000+ cash I paid up front, was a total and complete failure. Not once did Dr. Li's office attempt to reschedule or attempt to seek approval from my insurance company to reschedule. The office is most always overbooked with long waits on uncomfortable furniture, if you are fortunate enough to find a spot to sit. Some are not. I would not recommend Dr. Li or his office.

If you want a physician who wants just to do surgeries, this is for you. Very poor communication skills and frankly needs to understand that patients needs compassion and good care.

I had a great experience with Dr Li. There was a very short wait to get an appointment and a very short wait in the office on my appointment day. His staff was very knowledgeable and friendly, and I got a swift and accurate diagnosis. Within a few days, I had surgery to place a stent and blood flow was returned to the leg. He is very professional and cares about his patients. I would not hesitate to recommend him to friends and will continue to use his services in the future. Job well done!!
