Dr. James Peter Little, MD

Dr. James P. Little was hired by my employer to perform an Independant Medical Examination (IME) on me for a work-related injury in December 2022. Dr. Little has no knowledge of my diagnosis or disease that resulted from my injury. He gave me the typical quick look over. He listened to my heart, lungs, looked in my eyes and mouth; asked me to touch my toes, walk a straight line and checked my reflexes in my knees and that's about it. No bloodwork or any research into my medical history was performed prior to writing his report. Dr. Little was mandated to write his report within 5 days by the employer and did exactly that without doing any research into truly what is wrong with me or checking with the two medical specialists that have been and are currently still treating me. As a result of his less than adequate examination and neglect to check with my current medical professionals prior to writing and submitting his report it to my employer who hired him, along with the workers… comp team and their attorney. As a result of his neglect, I have been denied of my workers comp claim and all benefits including my medical bills. I am still currently dealing with this medical condition, and my treatment is scheduled to continue for a minimum of three more months. I am currently in my 8th month of treatment and both specialists have ordered Dr. restrictions to not return to work as a result of my work-related injury; however, Dr. Little's report indicates that I am fine and able to return to work. Dr. Little is only concerned about pleasing the responsible party that hired him. He obviously is crooked in his practice, and I do not recommend seeing him for an IME under any circumstances!

This Doctor does not adhere to the hippocratic oath that all doctors are trusted to abide by. He sees patients who are obviously disabled and documents thst they aren't for financial gain.

Upon arriving to Dr. Little's office at Southern Rehab Group I was promptly greeted by the friendly office staff. After completing my paperwork I was directed to the exam room. Dr. Little was extremely friendly and took the time to explain the EMG to ensure I understood everything. I would recommend this doctor to anyone needing an IME or EMG.
