Dr. James Frederick Littles JR., MD

Dr. Littles was absolutely amazing. He was professional and very caring. I would highly recommend him. His staff was great. They work together well and appear to respect each other.

Stay away! If you or your loved one needs radiation therapy for cancer treatment or otherwise....search for other options outside of Bay City! Dr. Littles talks about himself constantly. Tells grand, long-winded stories with charm and a grin. But when it comes to listening he is HORRIBLE. Here's some advice, sir: LEARN HOW TO LISTEN. Like, just shut up for a second and really listen compassionately with all of your energy. At the least, it might make you a better physician. I see a reviewer above talked about Dr. Littles' infamous "I care" declaration. He said it to us at the end of our first consultation (when we hadn't yet decided to go with his treatment). It shocked me and a red flag immediately went up. Usually when someone has to declare something like "I care", it is for reasons to convince you of something and often the opposite is actually closer to the truth. It should be a given that you care, numb nuts...you're a doctor treating mostly terminally ill patients. … Its in your Hippocratic Oath. Dr. Littles' office literally NEVER communicated paperwork or info to our Oncologist's office during the course of treatment. He always said he would send the info. This is supposed to be normal protocol among a team of doctors treating cancer. We ALWAYS had to request the info after frustratingly realizing it hadn't been done. Finally, I am not convinced Dr. Littles is a skillful Radiation Oncologist. After the treatments, my loved one is permanently damaged. Fried from the radiation and left to live the remaining final months of life as a shadow of what my loved one used to be. The only good thing I can say about Dr. Littles is that his admin and nursing staff are kind and caring. Once again...STAY AWAY! Find other options. U of M, Beaumont, Henry Ford Hospital all have Radiation and Oncology specialists. Explore your options. If you settle with Dr. Littles because he's close and the only one in town, you'll regret it.

Not sure why people give him a bad rating.hes been taking care of my mom and he is a caring doctor he just don't put up with peoples crap.
