Dr. James Paul Loehr, MD

This cardiologist diagnosed our newborn daughter with coarctation of the Aorta her very first day of life when she was evacuated to him from Fayetteville NC. She was on a respirator as her mitral valve stopped working hours after birth… Surgery followed Dr. Loehr’s findings!! At 3 days old… Olivia successfully healed and was discharged one month later!!! She now is in Atlanta GA with a successful career as an elementary music teacher after acquiring her Masters Degree in Music Education… We owe so much to this man who’s great with kids and a pleasure to talk with! Always a pleasure to see. My daugher is 15 and has seen Dr Loehr for 5 years. He can relate to young patients as well as teens. He does have a very corny sense of humor but is very endearing. He also explains every test and result in "normal" language that makes us comfortable.
