Dr. James Robert Long, MD

I've been seeing Dr. Long and his nursing and office family for over 20 years. He has taken special interests in my health and worked with me to address each one successfully. He gets to the root cause and works together with me to come up with a solution. Highly recommend!

Dr. Long is the most thorough doctor I've had to date, and I've had some tremendous/"highly thought of" primary physicians in the past. He came highly recommended when I moved to TX from CA, and he's exceeded expectations.

Dr. James Long has been my and my husband's primary care physician since 1992. We have been very pleased with his professionalism and thoroughness. He never overbooks and doesn't hesitate referring patients to a specialist, if he deems it necessary.

Dr. Long has been my primary care physician for over 20 years. He is professional, thorough and genuinely knowledgeable about my personal health. Both he and his staff are very friendly but his bedside manner can be a little brusque. Personally, I like that. He gets to the point. He honestly tells me what I need to do to get better and improve my health. I highly recommend Dr. Long and his staff.

James Long has helped me thru liver issues, serious back pain, diverticulitis and Barrett's Syndrome. I have been a patient of Dr Long for over 30 years. He is an excellent physician, extremely attentive, listens to what my issues are, and practices good old school hands-on medicine. He has a kind, yet inquisitive bed-side manner. I have visited with him and his staff about 75 times and have always been treated courteously, professionally and in a timely manner. He does not over-medicate and only prescribes that amount of medication necessary to address the specific issue surrounding your visit/injury, and if applicable, often suggests one use safer over the counter solutions. When extensive knowledge of medicine, is combined with years of one-on-one patient treatment, you get an extremely competent doctor who imbues trust and confidence of his patients.

Terrible judgmental doctor with no empathy at all! No bedside manner and not worth a copay. After several visits with Dr Long, I’ve given up. I’d advise you to go somewhere else!

This office is incredibly poor. They mismanaged my prescriptions and were terrible at communicating with my pharmacist. I would not go to this doctors office. They are negligent.
