Dr. James Lloyd Lovell, MD

Dr Lovell delivered my last baby in 1986, that’s right 39 years ago I was searching for a new o Gyn that was ProLife because my Ob passed away and I thank God for this Doctor. He took good care of me at that time all the way to 2002 when I needed a hysterectomy. I’m now 73 and wondering if I should get a check up, everything has definitely changed down south but if I do decide to get a check up it’ll be with Dr Lovey. I’m sorry for those that had a bad experience just Pray before you choose anyone for anything.

Dr. Lovell has been my doctor for over 38 years would not consider going to any other doctor. He not only has delivered my two younger kids but has delivered three of my grandkids.

Dr. Lovell has been my OB-GYN for over 40 years and I have received the best of care during that time. He delivered both of my children and I would not consider another doctor. His staff is both courteous and caring, Dr. Lovell listens to me and addresses all of my concerns in a professional and informative manner.

Currently hired lawyer to sue. Doctor was rude and incompetent and has a reputation in the medical community as such. New ob redid everything that was done because he stated he did not trust this doctor. Sent me to collections for another person's bill, stated I signed as guarantor, but I was not there, then when I stated that she has Medicaid office lady who did not give me her name stated I was never there and never gave them Medicaid information when I explained I drove it to them.the day it was recieved. She hung up on my twice. Talked over me. I recorded the conversation and have filed a complaint with Medicaid. They are incompetent and extremely rude. And apparently will let anyone steal your identity without verifying you were the person that signed. Sent me to collections without ever a phone call or bill prior to the collection notice. I do NOT recommend .

I havent yet to deliver but so far i love the staff and have had no problem whatsoever with dr.lovell since my first appointment i felt like he cared mostly about well being of baby's health and delivery ...i love mr.lovell and staff compared to my last docs !! Thank you mr .lovell - savannah

My experience with him makes me conclude that this doctor is all about doing procedures for money, not caring and very unprofessional. He performed unnecessary tests for a simple benign fibroid in the uterus, and even mention about hysterectomy with no clear reason! After I called his office to question, he never called me back to explain, and he never even signed the biopsy lab result, which showed his unprofessional practice and lack of confidence. Also, my new OB GYN doctor contacted their office for release of my medical info with my consent, but they never send them to my current doctor.

I'm in my mid twenties and have hade a lot of issues getting pregnant. I've had a many bad OBGYN in the past. Once I found dr lovell every thing changed! I got pregnant! I was high risk but he and the staff to great care of me! Not I'm having issues getting pregnant and they are doing all they can to help me! He is not one to rush into surgery until he knows he did everything in his power to prevent it. And seeing as how I've had many problems with other doctors. I feel sate knowing I'm in the best hands with dr. Lovell

I always feel special, not like a number. I have been going to him for 15 years and consider him an awesome doctor.

Dr Lovell delivered both my babies. We are all healthy so he's definitely a capable physician. My problem with him is his poor bedside manner. Often he walks in the room mid conversation with his nurse and doesn't even greet you for minutes. He rarely asked how I was feeling or if I was having issues with my pregnancy. He'd listen to my baby and say nothing until I asked. If I have another baby, I will find someone else.

Dr.Lovell u are the best Dr. i ever had thank's keep up the good work...
