Dr. James David Lussier, DDS

I’m a retired dentist and like many other folks, I have needed dental work over the past few years. Just recently, I broke my upper left bridge that was 20 plus years old. The upper back first molar was hopelessly broken and the bridge came off. That left me with two fewer teeth on the left side and made eating very difficult. My dentist referred me Dr Lussier to discuss the best treatment options. He showed me the X-rays and we talked about all logical solutions to restore the two missing teeth after the extraction of the broken tooth. After a thorough explanation of the surgery, he gave me IV sedation and extracted the hopeless upper left first molar. He then placed a bone graft and inserted two implants to replace my two missing natural teeth. The extraction and implant surgery was totally painless. I needed only Advil and Tylenol for postoperative discomfort. A few months from now, the implants will be fitted with crowns, thus restoring my ability to chew on the left side… of my mouth. This is my third surgical visit with Dr Lussier and the Kerrville Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery team. The level of care and compassion and attention to detail at this office is simply amazing. I highly recommend Dr Lussier and his team for those seeking excellence in tooth extractions, dental implant placement as well as other types of advanced Oral-Maxillofacial Surgery Care. If it is safe to state that any dental experience is ever enjoyable then I am the first to admit my visit yesterday to Dr. James Lussier's office was the best ever. Surgery went very well and we were very pleased with the entire staff. They explained every step of the process clearly and with great compassion. Would highly recommend them to anyone needing dental surgery.

Dr. Lussier is very considerate, listens to my needs, follows up with my specialist who requires specific procedures. Very happy with Dr. Lussier. I went to a total of 3 other Oral Surgeon's who refused to consult with my specialist. Dr. Lussier was happy to work in conjunction with my specialist.
