Dr Matera speaks to you in language you can understand. He answers all your questions and will treat you how you want to be treated as a patient. What i mean is, I am a high maintenance patient. I want all the knowledge and what to know what he suspects will happen and when. He actually was within a year of treatment I would need 23 yrs later. He is available and knows his patients. I trust him with my life.. you should too if you decide to go to him.. I literally interviewed him and 2 other drs when I was first diagnosed and have never regretted my decision..

He is an excellent doctor and exceptional chef, he keeps me healthy with my kidneys and can give some tips how to with recipes as well, he is the Best.

In my 40 years of being involved in healthcare, I have never met a better MD. He is courteous attentive extremely intelligent and never makes you feel rushed. Excellent CAREgiver!

My first experience was 18 yrs. ago, I have been Dr. Matera's patient for a very long time and he is the same kind,comforting and accurate doctor. When I first meet I was very young and scared and he really helped ease a lot of my fears and worries and continues to be that same Dr. to this day. His staff is wonderful and most of his colleagues are just the same.
