Doctor not able to access emergency situation. Needs further education on effects on patients who have been denied their medication. Insulting. Accusing me of having an affair with another doctor. No need to discuss this question over and over. The reflection is that you need to get your mind out of the gutter.

Dr. Matthews was very professional and very kind. Most noteworthy was his serious approach, and a matter-of-fact desire to help. The staff at Duke-Raleigh complemented his approach, being at once professional and courteous.

This Dr. discharged ER patent who came to Duke Raleigh with difficulty in breathing and chest pain with steroids prescription for bronchitis even though PT LAB result he ordered showed evidence of active heart attack/failure. PT was discharged within 45min of visit. Within 1.5 day, the PT had to be admitted for breathing and chest pain [via 911 call and ambulance transport] â?? critical care for several days followed by an open heart surgery. Lucky the PT residence was within 3 miles of Duke Raleigh Hospital. This DR was either carless in reviewing [or NOT] the PT lab work OR incompetent in interpreting lab result; either being implacable & unacceptable. Kudos goes to Dr. Ogan and his critical care team for stabilizing PT [several days of critical care stay] and Dr. Carmelo for fantastic job on the open heart surgery.
