Dr. May and his staff are the best you can find here in Houston when it comes to orthodontics. He is extremely professional and knowledgeable. Your teeth are important to take care of and Dr. May can help and guide you for the best possible smile. He is right here in The Heights area and is very easy to get to.

First visit consisted of literally about three minutes of Dr. May ranting about other orthodontists’ practices. Second visit was spent listening to probably the most sophomoric explanation of TMJ issues imaginable. Third visit ended with me walking out of the office after waiting over 40 minutes to see Dr. May during which time it dawned on me that cutting my losses and moving on to find a more professional orthodontist was by far the better option. I recommend visiting this office for entertainment purposes only.

I would give Dr. May more than 5 stars if I could. Who you choose as your orthodontist is so critically important. This is your smile. I started out with someone else so I found out the hard way. However, my experience with Dr. May is that he is an amazing orthodontist. Not only does he have technical expertise, but his "bedside" manner is incredible. He is so patient and eager to answer all of my questions (and trust me, I have a lot). My first ortho rushed me with one word answers, Dr. May is clear, helpful, and only has a patient's best interest at heart. I feel like I am a very critical and demanding patient because I have many, many questions and it takes a lot for me to feel confident in the advice I am getting (I am a lawyer afterall). But I am completely happy with Dr. May and I would not hesitate to recommend him to all of my friends. Communication is everything!!! He also has a beautiful new office, easy parking, and an amazing dog who greets you at the door. I… wish all of my doctors could be like him.

daughter went in for braces. other ortho/dentist did a horrilbe job. Don't allow a dentist to do orhto work. Money and time wasted. Dr. James May is the BEST. He knows what he'd doing and corrected the problem of the previous guy.
