Dr. James Ernest Mays III, MD

Has been my Urologist for quite a long time. Called his office to get a refill on my medicine, phone disconnected. Went to where his office used to be. Was told by building manager that he retired. Didn't let his patients know that he had retired. Left patients hanging in limbo.

Do not go to him.

Dr. Mays has taken care of myself, my brother and now my elderly parents. 20 years now. Kind, gentle and factual. Recommend highly.

Only one appointment but office and Dr. was prompt and courteous.

Dr. Mays was great. Went over the pro's and con's of a vesectomy. The problem is his staff. They pretty much treat you like you are stupid. I tried to return my sperm sample and they weren't open. When I called, they said that I was wrong and they were in the office. Even though the lights were off and the door was locked, I was still wrong. I had to get another sperm sample to them and they never called me with the results. I called back after 2 weeks and they said they needed another sperm sample. After my first visit, I would have rated them all 4 stars.

He does not listen !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I understand there should be some discomfort but not pain told him to stop .not once but twice before he would stop Will not be going back

Hesaid he would do everything to keep me alive and he has kept his word.I have vdvanced Prostate cancer and God worked through DR Mays to outlive my life expectantcy.
