Dr. James Wayne Mccauley, MD

I did not have a good experience. I had 2-3 visits to this office and not one person even though to check me for rheumatoid arthritis which I have been diagnosed with. A doctor telling me "well if some arthritis is your only problem then I guess its a good day" is not what a patient wants to hear. Stay clear

My husband and I have been patients of Dr. McCauley for over 25 years. He takes time with us and his diagnosis have been accurate and our care far above average for this part of Florida.

He legit told me I have to shave when I come to the Dr. LOL What? It's the style man get with the times. The staff is really nice.

McCauley started practicing when people still thought the world was flat. He's too arrogant to recognize that he's no longer competent. Staff covers for his substandard care. Stay away if you value your health.

Wonderful doctor. Takes his time working with me. He is very helpful and always gets the correct diagnosis. The staff is wonderful. I have been using him for years. I recommend handfuls of people to see him ad no one ever has one bad thing to day.

This guy is so old and doddering that it's scary thinking he makes life and death decisions for patients. Find somebody who went to medical school after the Civil War. Seriously. Doctors should have to recertify just like drivers license to determine whether they're still mentally fit to practice.

Some of the nicest people work for Dr. McCauley. It must be a matter of opposites attracting, because the Dr. failed his "bedside manner" course, he does not give his patients adequate time and attention, and he seems unconcerned about patient concerns. Licensed around the time time of the Kennedy-Nixon Debates, he really should be playing golf, not practicing medicine.

Find somebody else. Anybody else. The staff is great but McCauley is a doddering old jerk with an MD degree. There should be mandatory retirement for guys like him.
