After receiving his B.A. at the University of Tennessee - Chattanooga, Dr. James McDaniel received his D.D.S. and M.S. in orthodontics at the University Dr. McDaniel stays abreast of the latest advances in orthodontics through numerous continuing education courses and through memberships in the American Dental Association, Tennessee Dental Association, Chattanooga Area Dental Society, American Association of Orthodontists, Tennessee Association of Orthodontists, and the Lookout Dental Study Club. Additionally, he is a Fellow in the American College of Dentists. In 2007, he was named as an Assistant Professor of Orthodontics at the University of Tennessee, teaching the next generation of orthodontists. In his time away from the office, Dr. McDaniel enjoys golf, snow skiing, fly-fishing and spending time with his grandchildren.
