Dr. James Edward Mcminn, MD

Dr. McMinn is knowledgeable and skilled at holistic medicine. He has always been kind. Be aware that he does not accept insurance of any kind and each of my visits were no less than $500+. His staff is the worst I've ever encountered in any doctors offices--EVER! On three separate occasion my questions were met with hostility. His office manager humiliated me in front of other staff and patients. She broke privacy regulation by talking about my medical conditions in front of these same people. Amanda has absolutely no business working with the public. In fact, she is one of the most hateful medical staffers I've ever encountered. We had an uncomfortable encounter of which I apologized. I indicated that she owed me an apology and she told me that she was sorry that I felt offended by her and then she hung up on me--with me in tears. They will not return calls. I have trouble getting them to respond to my pharmacy's request for refills. I've asked to speak to a nurse… regarding the condition Dr. McMinn was treating and I was told that the nurse did not speak to patients and that if I had a medical question or concern--I needed to go to Urgent Care. The staff also told me that he is most certainly not a primary care doctor. Dr. McMinn is too expensive to put up with the abusive staff. Seriously--go to Urgent Care where you will be treated with kindness and respect.

Dr. McMinn is keenly interested in the whole patient and finding underlying causes for health issues. He is proactive and very supportive in healing the patient.

When no one else would take the measures to run labs and listen to my problems, I went to Dr. McMinn. He successfully diagnosed my condition. Highly recommended!!!

Dr. McMinn is one of the few doctors that I hold in high regard. He is very knowledgable in several areas of medicine and biology but is not arrogant. He is willing to listen to his patient's and work with THEIR needs, rather than ignoring what they say because they aren't a doctor. His office offers a variety of services from accupuncture to hormone therapy to addiction treatment. I have yet to find a more caring or genuine physician. I would highly recommend Dr. McMinn to anyone that needs help.StevenP.S. Sometimes the wait can be a few minutes longer than normal, but it is definitely worth it. And it is only because he spends as much time as needed to address his patient's concerns.

Very thorough and caring. I am a new patient and have just started treatment for hormone problems. I will get back with results.
