Too many good things to list!! In 1977, natural childbirth was going big. I was expecting my second child. I asked him about it and he smiled that great Texas smile. A few months later, I had the most wonderful moment in my life. He was the best !! Now I’m wondering if he will take on a 66 year old patient who thinks I’m still 26. Hey Mike, you changed your do! I love this doctor. I was with him for several years, then he retired. I miss him a lot, he always took time to let me talk to him. Always patient, always kind, always made me feel like I was important. He truly is missed.

My husband, son & I have been patients of Dr Merrill's since 1992. We love him!! The things I really appreciate are: we have seen him for almost everything (routine illness, well woman exams, spinal adjustments, premie check ups, childhood ADHD, etc.), I never feel rushed, he explains things to my satisfaction and answers all questions, he remembers me from visit to visit, he doesnt hesitate to do specialist referrals when needed, he tries to prescribe the most reasonably priced medication when possible, he accepts many different insurances, and he's always current when it comes to changes and new things in the field of medicine. He's also had the same nurses for a long time and they're great! The only complaint I have is when something comes up that needs to be seen that day or the next day it's usually not possible. That's the only thing I wish were different because it costs so much more out-of-pocket to go to a walk-in emergency clinic, along with the fact… that you're there for hours.

Dr. James "Mike" Merrill saved my life due to his quick and good decisions. His treatment and counsel gave me longevity and a quality of life that is desired by so many. I live so far but if I were in his area he would be the physician I would call on. Thank you Dr. Merrill for my life. You blessed me and my family.
