Dr. James Curtis Morgan, MD

He's a great doctor and all but I've had one problem with him recently over the two years of seeing him, but it was more of my fault and he was upset with what I did. Great guy though, very quick!

Took my son in due to a fever and what I suspected to be an ear infection. The nurse took his vitals and 20 minutes later dr Morgan finally came in saying I needed to take him to the ER immediately. He did not even look at my son much less examine him. Said I would be "lucky if it was an ear infection. It's more along the lines of pneumonia". I rushed him to the hospital to find out $2500 later, it was an ear infection. They prescribed amoxicillin and he was better within 48 hours.

Overall is a he a competent Doctor yes. Staff is nice, facility is nice, but on more then one occasion does the appointment feel rushed like he is in a hurry to get to the next patient even if you still have questions. Also would be told things like "that's just part of getting older" instead of "lets figure out if this is a real issue or not" or even what the name of the issue is.. He could be a great Dr. if he just cared a bit more about helping the sick instead of just treating them and quickly getting to the next $.. i mean patient.

Excellent doctor, after bad experiences with a couple other physicians I have found Dr. Morgan to be knowledgeable, compassionate, and trustworthy. The guy's got almost 40 years experience! I have found my permanent provider here. Oh yeah, it's also kinda nice to be seen in a new building with a comfortable atmosphere, state-of-the-art equipment, and a friendly desk staff. Short wait times. Can't say enough good about Dr. Morgan, St. Joseph Medical Center, and Franciscan healthcare in general.

Extremely competent Dr! Straight forward manner but friendly attitude! Does not waist your time!

Dr. Morgan is a friendly, knowledgable doctor witha great bedside manner. I've had a traumatic experience with my last PCP, (at a Community Health clinic) who belittled me for being mentally disabled and treated me like a 2nd class citizen. Not so with Dr. MORGAN. I felt instantly comfortable with him, his Medical Assistant was great too. She told me don't hesitate to contact her if I need another appointment anytime, they will try and work me in. Coming from Community Health, the difference is like night and day. I can tell at Franciscan they really do care. I wish I'd have had this option years ago. Very highly recommended.

This doctor has a great way with his patients. His nurse is great too!

Dr Morgan was my DR. for 20yrs until I moved to AZ.....I wish He was here as he is a great DR....He was also my husbands, Kids, and Sisters and almost all of my familys Dr....

A doctor true and true, this doctor is excellent for men I cant say about woman because I am not one, I have traveled and lived in several sates and countries Dr Morgan is a no nonsense doctor believes you know what is ailing you and in part goes by what you tell him as it should be. He is an excellent doctor, if you want some one to hold your hand he is not for you. He has been my doctor since 2005 and I would never change him for anotherif he wanted to retire he could have done it long time ago.

Dr Morgan and His staff are great. There is never a wait time. Appointmments are easy to get or they will work you in. Dr Morgan listens and answers questions. You never feel rushed. If you are looking for a family doctor he's your man.
