Dr. James Patrick Mumford, DDS

I started seeing Dr Mumford a few years ago. My whole experience has been great. The office manager is pleasant and efficient. The hygienists are all great. And Dr. Mumford does great work. This is an excellent practice.

Everyone who works here is competent and friendly, and the office and equipment are very clean. I definitely recommend them.

Recently had an issue with a broken tooth. Called Dr. Munford's office (who is my regular dentist) and thanks to Dottie got a speedy appointment. Dr. Mumford and his entire team are very professional, polite, friendly, and make me feel welcome. The office is conveniently located with ample parking right in front of the building. Highly recommend this group.

I agree with another review on here. I had dental work done by the assistant and not by Dr. Mumford. I've never been to a dentist where the Dr. doesn't do the actual work or even check on it. I've had issues ever since (it's not surprising!) but wouldn't go back here. I spent a lot of money and feel totally ripped off. I agree the staff can be abrupt and not so nice. I was told I couldn't use the bathroom, but another staff member said it was fine...I have difficulty walking and couldn't make it up the stairs to the "public" restroom. Overall, it was a strikeout for me on many levels.

Take it from a person who has a phobia about going to the dentist - Dr. Mumford and his team are simply the best around! They do EVERYTHING right! Aside from being great at what they do, they are also genuinely caring and kind individuals who go above and beyond to put you at ease and ensure your comfort. They are invested in not only your dental health, but also your personal well-being. I highly recommend this practice and do so without reservation. Trust me - you will not be disappointed.

Not an average doctor. He is also interested in you. I have been a patient for 22 years through cleaning, caps and just welll taken care of.

My sole concern with this office is an assistant, rather than the dentist, seem to be doing most of the work. I was in today for my second visit for a crown replacement and never once saw the Doctor. An assistant fitted me with the temporary on the first visit which comprised most of the visit, and did 100% of the fitting of the permanent crown. Dr. Mumford never even came in to check the work .

The dentist is great, however, the office staff is rude and have zero respect when handling a customer service situation. Due to these new Obama laws I was forced to get dental insurance. What sucks for me is that I am yet to recieve my insurance cards although I have been paying for insurance for going on two months now. I had to cancel my appointment the day of because I did not receive the cards... I am now forced to pay a late fee that I have no control over. What was I supposed to do pay full price? The women I spoke to the situation about was rediculous!
