Dr. James George Nachbar, MD

Dr. Nachbar was interested in determining if I was experiencing early stage symptoms which would point to a glaucoma diagnosis. He ordered extensive testing and conducted a thorough examination. We discussed the findings and development of a follow up plan. I also learned that Dr. Nachbar would soon be retiring from the practice and it did cause some sadness for me. While I am pleased to hear he will have the joy of being with his family full time, the expertise and professionalism over the past years I have had the privilege of receiving will be missed. Dr. Nachbar did recommend someone in this practice to do my follow up visits yet he set the bar high. I wish him the best!

My appointment was at 12:40 and I was taken back to the exam room promptly. The staff was all very professional & kind. Dr Nachbar was very personable when he came in to see me & we realized he had my mom for a patient 35 years ago! He took his time examining my eyes & when it was determined I did, indeed, need cataract surgery on both eyes, he carefully explained my options in lenses. I really appreciate having a doctor that takes his time, shows compassion & explains everything carefully. My surgery is scheduled & I look forward to having better sight! Highly recommend him.

Dr. Nachbar has been my eye doctor since 1993 He and his team have always been cordial and professional.

Dr. Nachbar did my LASIK surgery several decades ago and was able take my vision from wearing extraordinarily thick glasses to none at all. The operation was absolutely painless and took about 10 minutes. Now Dr. Nachbar will doing my cataract operation and implanting cutting edge corrective lenses. I have the utmost confidence in his skills. He is outstanding in his field, as well as very knowledgeable, very personable, and very meticulous like the rest of the staff at South Jersey Eye. His work is tops and I feel extremely confident in his success in my upcoming operation. I would recommend South Jersey Eye and Dr. Nachbar to anyone, anytime.
