Dr. James Benjamin Newman

Dr Newman is the absolute best.. On May 9 2023 I saw Dr Newman as a first time patient. He took his time to get to know me and talk to me about what I was going thru. He was very detailed, and very compassionate. He spent significant time with me going over my conditions. He explained everything to me from A-Z. He never rushed me. He made sure every question I had was answered. He told me if any other question came up don’t hesitate to contact him. I would personally recommend Dr Newman to anyone!!! He is the best!! When a person is in their darkest moments they need compassion and understanding to help them remain positive and overcome!! Thanks Dr Newman!!

Incredibly Thorough, Knowledgeable, Compassionate. My 80+ year old father is a patient of Dr. James Newman and we are quite pleased with the professional, knowledgeable, and human-side of care Dr. Newman is providing our dad. My father is in sound mind, but with a series of blood clot disorders, recently discovered two mild strokes and blood clots, neuropathy and severe spinal stenosis, we have witnessed a sharp decline in our dad. With his existing conditions and two genetic blood clotting disorders, the much needed surgery that will dramatically increase his quality of care. The challenge was figuring out what was really a jig-saw of issues. Well, Dr. Newman has been outstanding and has spent substantial and considerable time reviewing a pile of records, engaging with the other members of my dad's care team, explaining all issues very carefully, and helping to relieve a tense situation. Most impressive is the depth of knowledge he possesses. I want to be clear too: we are very… pleased with the care provided by NYU Langone; however, I have never written a review. Dr. James Newman's level of care was so outstanding and above the excellent care we are receiving that I thought I would share with others just how impressive he is.
