Dr. James Ngo, MD

Completely incompetent staff. After having me wait in their waiting room for 45 min they tell me my appointment was for yesterday. Which is total b.s. I know that I scheduled this appointment for Tuesday because that is my only off day and am unable to come at any other time. Dr. Ngo is nice and seems very experienced but the staff is absolutely incompetent. If I wasn't so close to delivering I would change doctors.

Great with patient and family.

Spent less than 5 mins to basically tell me they can't locate a lab result, "measured" my abdomen and check my pulse on my feet. I've had better care. I asked about opting out of a csection and to try a vbac basically told me I need to sign a waiver. Then told me that if I was to go into labor on call ob's would not perform a csection BC I wasn't their patient even if it was necessary at the end... I'm pretty sure that's against the law to refuse care affiliated with the only ob ward in the city.

This is the worst office ever for oncall staff! Every call is just referred to the er. Not very professional. I work in medicine so I know how things should be handled. Unprofessional answering service!!

Dr. Ngo is super. He took great care of me and was extremely curteous to my husband and I. I had a very high-risk pregnancy and Dr. Ngo made sure I saw all of the right people including a great perinatologist. He took my concerns very seriously and altough the office staff leave much to be desired, I never doubted that Dr. Ngo would make sure everything would be taken care of. I had a repeat C-section scheduled, but went into labor a few weeks early. Dr. Ngo put me at ease and I had a wonderful C-section and even got out of the hospital a few days early! I am sad to see reviews for another doctor are dragging Dr. Ngo's score down.

Arrived in town 36 weeks pregnant and Drs Berman and Ngo were the only Drs willing to treat me through delivery. Since then billing has been a nightmare. My last appointment I waied 75 minutes before getting called back to take vitals then sent back into waiting room for another 20 minute wait. All for an injection! The office staff couldn't find my records for 20 minutes after I arrived. Dr Ngo is kind and concientious and ALMOST makes the lack of professionalism in his staff tolerable.

Dr. Ngo is a great Dr. who goes right to the point. He gave me several test to determine that I had a high risk pregnancy. Knowing that I was at high risk early in my pregnancy he was able to refer me to a specialist. Together Dr. Ngo and the specialist were able to make sure my pregnancy went well. I was very pleased with Dr. Ngo.
