Dr. James Robert Nikoleit, MD

Dr Nickoleit brags that he went to Northwestern but didn’t know what the Vagus nerve was. He also fat shamed my son and our family multiple times. He wouldn’t order certain tests because he was taught to start with the basics. Well almost our whole family has autoimmune thyroid disease and my husband has a blood disorder. I asked for a ferritin level. Nope. Something would have to be abnormal on the cbc to order that. Hmmmm interesting. Come to think of it, he didn’t even ask about family history during a physical.

Dr. Nickoleit is an excellent doctor. He takes time to really listen to you and treats you with dignity and respect. He is very easy to talk to and takes all the time you need when you see him; he never rushes you.

He doesn’t listen and acts like you’re a burden.

He became my primary shortly after he started practicing in Lombard, can't remember when but I had been with him for a while when I was diagnosed with cancer in 1991. Always a friendly, caring doctor, with a great sense of urgency. He always listened, followed-up, and made me feel at ease.

I visited Dr. Nikoleit's office for the 1st time this week and was very impressed with him. He is caring and a very good listener. I will be visiting him again in the future.

Great doctor.

I really trust Dr. Nikoleit because he does not rush through an appointment, gives options and listens to the patient's concerns. He has the best bedside manor that I have seen in a doctor.

This doctor is pleasant, easy-going but very professional and an excellent diagnostic physician. He found and diagnosed my ovarian cancer at a very early stage and more than ten years later I am still his grateful patient. He listens, and asks questions and I consider him tops in internal medicine, kindness to his patients and his follow-up care is tremendous.
