Dr. North, is one of the most awesome doctors I have ever seen. He is a patient man. He listens, but wait there is more, he even addresses your concerns and continues to answer your questions until you're satisfied and you understand. In a world of HMO and PPOS that is pretty much close to extinction. Dr. North has gone the extra mile in his area of expertise, by doing this he is found alternative ways to manage pain. Not everything can be fixed with medication. I had a left hip replacement, before I went under, I told my doctor, " Doctor, all I want to be able to do, once I recover, is to be able to run a Disney Marathon with my daughter." Then, to find out that I could barely walk, we I walked it was so painful. All I had a very long painful road, not much to look forward to. The was true, then my pain management referred me to Dr. North. The first thought, another doctor, more bad news, a long drive, how many more times am I going to have to do this? We all know the… routine. Appointment day, well it was not a good day. The ride was long, I was hurting really bad that day and I had not slept well. (I must add that my pain management doctor had cut my pain medication in more then half with no notice. My body was not happy. My government knows best so I am told). Now, I am in the room waiting on someone by the name of Doctor North to come in. To my surprise when the door opened up in walked the man, kind of....I looked at me husband and he looked at me, we were both trying to figure out who this kid was that just walked in my room. I to wrap this up, Dr. North gave me something that I thought it was gone. In my mind I could not see any other alternative other than to just give up. But he gave me hope. I will not be perfect, but I will be better and may never get to run a Marathon with my daughter, but maybe half marathon or 5K. I will start slow and move from there. That is because Dr. North takes his time with his patients, to get to know what he needs to do provide us with a better quality of life....Dr. North is worth the Drive, the wait.. he is one of the best Doctors I have had the pleasure of meeting. Thank you....

I was excited to see this doctor. He was expected to be able to help me. However, he said he simply had no clue what was wrong with me, had never seen this in his entire career, couldn't offer me anything, and told me to go for run. Duh, I can't run because of my limited functionality of leg and pain that running causes. Thanks for the great idea, though. He couldn't even suggest what doctor I should see next - a question I always ask as I try to get to the bottom of my pain. I also requested that notes/visit summary be sent to me, and his office never got those to me. These are the only visit notes (of many) that I haven't seen. I don't care to waste my time trying to get them anymore. I feel like Dr. North is only looking for CRPS patients. I have no problem with that, but he should state that or have a policy in place to prevent new patients from seeing him that don't have CRPS. If you don't have CRPS, don't waste your time with Dr. North. This was the most disappointing… appointment I have had all year. And I have been to many doctors trying to better understand how to treat my pain. He is honestly the only doctor who did not give me ANY helpful information or ideas.

Due to EXTREMELY sloppy and mostly left up to assistants and colleagues report writing I have now lost my workers comp case! This has cost me EVERYTHING! My compensation is being cut off and I am about 3 weeks away from being homeless so........ STAY AWAY!

One of the best specialist I have ever dealt with. Such a warm and caring bedside manner and makes you feel like you are the only patient he's worrying about. Very brilliant physician!
