I called to schedule appointment, he was listed as a doctor then was told he is no longer seeing patients, why have him listed as a doctor when he doesn't even see patients

Dr. O'Keefe was my doctor for several years, then they said he was retiring, yet he continues to see patients to this date. I had great insurance and was never a difficult patient. He was 5 stars until the hoax no longer seeing patients story.

He had his mind made up about what was wrong with me even before he walked into the room. He only used existing blood tests to diagnose, did not ask me about my symptoms and dismissed anything that I brought up or asked about. Waste of time.

I was referred to Loyola IDD, I was seen by the resident Mapa, he was very kind..Then O'Keefe was brought into the exam room. He was mean, made reference to Obama care. Told me the bite I have on my hip was not what I said it was. I know that spot is tick bite as that is where the tick was removed. He would not speak in terms that I or my experienced advocate could understand. When he was asked to explain, he became gruff and said they would not do any testing on me because I had no insurance, although we told him I would be getting assistance from Loyola's charitable organization. He bounced me back to my original doctor that sent me there. Also he stated that there is no lyme disease in Illinois, which is a lie, and I was not bit in Illinois, I was bit in Indiana, When I told him this, he immediately said there is no lyme in Indiana. This man has no business treating people, his exam table manners were terrible. I sat crying and I cried all the way home.

one of the best doctors i have ever had. my other doctors slacked and he made sure they got up to speed

no patient could ever ask for a better doctor. he is kind, caring, and efficient beyond words. his sense of humor also brightens a patients day.
