James Douglas Ostrander

Dr. Ostrander is unlike most doctors. He has the absolute best bedside manner, he is a brilliant surgeon and he listens to every concern or question you may have before and after your surgery. I crushed my wrist in February, lots of hardware, but at age 70, I am back to work full time as a housekeeper, able to do everything I could before. My scar barely shows & I feel blessed that I had him as my surgeon. Ive had plenty of surgeries, no one compares to Dr. Ostrander.

Dr.Ostrander is an amazing Dr!! Very attentive, very caring, very knowledgeable!! Super fun Dr also!! Did surgery on my daughter’s tibia and she absolutely loves him too!!

I’ve been dealing with orthopedic surgeons for the same injury since 2005. Dr Ostrander is the first one who has tried to fix the original poorly repaired bone out of all of them. I was walking immediately after surgery, and finally have some type of plan that may make it possible for knee replacement in my other leg, which I have needed since 2006. Highly recommend!

Dr Ostrander is one of the best orthopedic doctors around. Very nice, listens to your problems and tells you what is going on and will refer you to another Dr. if what he finds is not is niche.

Pleased with how Dr. Olstrander treated me as a person - not just the injury. I had a complex injury - he did a great job with the repair, the follow up and the education that I needed to further along my recovery. I am pleased with every aspect of his care and would recommend him to anyone. He is down to earth, friendly and attentive to concerns.
