I switched eye doctors this past year. Dr. Paauw was recommended for treating my cataracts and he and his staff did an excellent job with my surgery. I know longer need glasses and the procedure he did to address my glaucoma has worked to keep my eye pressure down to the point of not needing drops. All in all a great experience. I decided to make Dr. Paauw my primary doctor for my eye exams.

Very Pleased I am 75 , and, was horrified to be diagnosed with cataracts that needed surgery. I was convinced, by Dr. Paauw’s professional and reassuring approach , that cataract surgery was necessary, corrective, and safe. I talked to several other patients of Dr. Paauw’s, and felt positive about the procedures . Results are excellent. I am a botanical artist, and am back in the studio, adjusting to drawing without my nose practically on the paper! ( Not to brag, but my ‘distance’ vision is better than 20/20, and my ‘near’ vision is beautifully sharp.)

Dr. Paauw is a very caring and nice doctor. I am a very skittish patient when it comes to my eyes, but Dr. Paauw made me feel very comfortable. I love that he cares enough about his patient that he wants to pray with you before surgery. I would recommend him to anyone. Excellent doctor.

Dr. Paauw is amazing. With the help of God and his expertise my eye is so very much clearer. My vision has drastically gotten better. I loved the fact that he prayed for me before he did the surgery for cataracts and glaucoma. He is an excellent human being and an outstanding doctor!

Dr. Paauw is capable. He quickly figured out that I had been erroneously addressing a problem with my eyes for years- at the advice of other ophthalmologists and optometrists. He and his staff are very easy to be with and talk to. Not stiff and distant like others.

About 5 years previous, I had cataract surgery from another surgeon. I began developing floaters in my right eye, which made reading difficult. Dr. Paauw utilized laser technology in a painless process that quickly resolved the issue. I appreciated his professional efficiency and gracious manner. He also followed up by phone after the procedure to check on my recovery. I would highly recommend Dr. Paauw and his staff.
