Dr Parker has done multiple joint replacements, as well as knee & shoulder repairs for several of our family members. All have had excellent outcomes. We are a very active family (non of us are spring chickens anymore) & Dr Parker has kept us going & doing the things we love!

Office and surgical facility are excellent with compassionate and caring staff at both. Total knee replacement went without a hitch and 6 months later my knee is better than it’s been in years. He’s the only surgeon I’ ever recommend.

I had been Dr. (?) Parker’s patient for a couple of years as he had done surgery on my knee. Needless to say I got a staff infection and had to be on IV antibiotics for six weeks. Parker said he couldn’t help me anymore so he sent me to Houston to his “mentor”. He operated on me and said that was all he could do also. This was just a knee surgery. I fell in my bathroom on night and tore out my knee that I got in Houston and broke my femur. The ER nurse called Parker repeatedly and he refused to return the call. He left me in that condition for 14 hours and still never showed his face. He got Dr. Toby Risko to come in and see what he could do. Thank God for that. Dr. Risko from Amarillo Bone and Joint is the best. He talks to his patients in plain English and doesn’t rush them thru the office. Parker was my doctor and should have checked on me. Think twice before going to Parker!

I was having difficulty walking, my right knee was swollen and very painful. I contacted Dr Parker’s office to see if they could work me in and Carlos got me in the very next morning. Thanks to his quick response and painless procedures he was able to relieve my pain and I was able to walk ( not limp) the very next day without pain or swelling. Thank you Carlos for your dedication to your patients. You and Dr Parker are wonderful !!!

Was told at appointment that if I wanted to actually see the doctor that it would be another 2 weeks (frozen shoulder for me, lots of pain), or that I could see the PA, Joe. Both times saw Joe. Felt like I was in an assembly line, with them going through the motions to satisfy my insurance company. Not once showed or spoke to me about the xrays or mri. And, forget about getting pain medicine....they think your a druggie if you ask for it....they even check your urine for drugs on your first visit. After 2 visits......I fired them.

Staff was very unhelpful and refused to give names. Staff refused to assist with elderly mother and refused to make needed phone calls.

Dr Parker is a non-caring sociopath who has no interest in anyone's life but his own. If you think you are his priority you are sadly mistaken. The only person he truly cares for is himself. There are many choices in Amarillo to see for a Dr. Do not choose him

Like running cattle through a chute. Only concerned about the money. Really gone downhill the last two years. Becoming a brand that has lost its way.
