Dr. James Michael Patton, MD

Patton saw me when I was admitted into St Joseph Hospital. After having a CT scan of my head he came in and told me the scan showed nothing but believe it or not I have a brain. He made me feel like I was making out to be sick because he couldn't figure out what was wrong with me. The last time I saw him he ask how I was and I told him I was in pain and he stated "Well you always say that, what do you have a cronic pain problem". Then he told me I need to get up out of that bed and move around. Even the nurse aide stated "What a jerk after he left" so it wasn't just me seeing it. I had been moving around my husband had been walking me and I had been sitting in the chair. His attitude what horrible. My husband told the staff he did not want him around me any more. I did make a complaint to the hospital about him.

One of the best things about him he takes time to look you in the eye and listens to you. He makes sure that your both on the same page and you have a plan in place before you leave. He has a wonderful personality. I have been going to him for a long time and will continue to as long as he stays in practice. He makes you feel like a person and you count not like a number and hurrying you out the door like some doctors do.

He is great. He has treated everyone in my family and we all loved him. He knows what he is doing and he develops great relationships with his patient. He really cares and can make a quick and extremely accurate diagnosis. If he has you on a medicine it is because he doesn't feel other medicines will work for you. He is the best doctor.

Its an ok clinic for basic medical problems. If you need a flu shot just go to the pharmacy it seemed quicker I had to explain why I needed one.

I had been bounced from MD to MD as other family practice doctors were puzzled as to my certain condition. They kept trying to refer me to a specialist, who cost more. I wanted to take one more opportunity with a family doctor before heading to the specialist and was recommended Dr. Patton by one of his patients. In fact they practically demanded I see him. I'm glad I did. Not only was the illness not as severe as the other MD's believed it to be, a simple round of medicine cleared up the problem and it never returned. Dr. Patton simply knows his stuff, and saw plainly what apparently was hidden from 5 or 6 other doctors. Thank you Dr. Patton!

He needs to work in a hospital setting. You don't develop relationships there. Dr. Patton misses the point. You can hang the sign out but you've got to be able to make the connection. Knowledge is critical but you've got to make the connection.For a everyday MD without serious problems he is good.

Never listen to the symptoms you give written or otherwise and never chart them as well

have been with Dr. Patton for a long time and he has seen us through some difficult times.A no nonsense Dr.,yet personable.
