I went to Dr.Pickford in May of 2023 due to extreme back pain. It was a horrible experience to encounter such an unkind, unsympathetic doctor while in pain. He was extremely rude and harsh. I was so upset that I couldn't hold back the tears. An important step in becoming a doctor is to take the Hippocratic Oath. And one of the promises within that oath is "first, do no harm" He must have forgotten it. I share this so you can be aware. If you do encounter him I hope your experience will be different. I've read other reviews and they were bad as well. I think he has chosen the wrong profession!

This Man is very rude and pompous. He judges you before he even meets you and let’s you know. He talks down to patients. He will ask a question and won’t let you finish and rudely interrupts. I don’t even want to give 1 star.

We have been patients of Dr. Pickford's for many years. He is down to earth, caring, compassionate, and good at tackling and diagnosing diseases. We highly recommend him! He tells it like it is, if it needs to be said , he says it. We wouldn't have it any other way. He puts it out there, no reading between the lines. In our book, Dr Pickford is the best. So very helpful to our family. He is a wonderful doctor.

I switched to a new doctor because red flags kept popping up every time I visited Dr Pickford. After going over my history and complaints, the new doctor knew immediately what is wrong with me. Dr. Pickford ignored every sign and symptom I had, was contentious, argumentative and kept saying "well I don't know what that would be". He didn't follow through with obvious labs and tests to properly diagnose me. I've suffered for 10 months with an easily diagnosable and treatable condition.

I've been a nurse for 20 years and I've never experienced such disturbing behavior professionally or personally. He is apathetic, untrustworthy and unprofessional. He documented inaccuracies in regards to my health history and visit complaint. He became verbally abusive when I corrected him. I am very concerned about this doctors mental health.
