Dr. James Lowell Pincock, MD

The doctor was very thorough in his examination and the diagnostic tests ordered. Answered all of my questions. Carried out diagnosis and treatment within 2 weeks. And, followed up with me after my procedure. He is a quiet, friendly person and very professional, and so are his staff members.

I feel bad for Dr. Pincock's staff having to work with him. They are, for the most part, caring and attentive. He on the other hand is rude and pompous. Declaring that because I did not go to thirteen years of school I was not capable of telling the difference between a muscle spasm and joint pain. He becomes angry and condescending when you attempt to ask him any follow up questions.

I have serious concerns about this doctor. Having been in this specialty as an oral surgeon for 23 years, you expect much better. I had an extraction on a fully exposed tooth and when I was done my mouth was beaten to pieces, gums cut, etc. I was never fully out of pain during the process and it was excrutiating; significant, unabated pain for long term following. Local DDS's are referring their patients here and should not be. I've never felt in my gut that a doc was negligent but I feel so here.

These people are extremely rude and snobs! I went in for a consulation after a refer from my orthodontist. I was told many different things and before I had left the office i told them I was no longer interested in the surgery. Two months later I get a phone call asking why my insurance wasent approving me. I told her I wasent interested anynore and she gave me the rude remark..."So we are going through all this trouble and you dont even want our help anymore. Do you even HAVE medical insurance, probably not" I was also told the consult was free then get a very expensive bill. I would NEVER recomend this practice to anyone...I would rather search for another practice for anyone that asked.

Dr. Pincock was not only rude and condescending, but started the procedure before I was even fully sedated, when I told my mother about this afterward he continued to make gestures behind my back like I was making everything up. After this completely unsatisfying visit,I was picking shards of tooth and bone out of the socket for months.
