Worst bedside manner I have ever experienced. Wanted to run all kinds of tests in ER though I came with a diagnosis already. Ridiculed me for arguing against them.

This is by far one of the most unprofessional doctors offices I have ever dealt with. I left 2 voicemails in 2 weeks and never received a call back. I then called about 5 times in one day and finally got to speak to someone. I have never had such a difficult time with a doctors office. Also, no one ever called me back to schedule my sleep study. I had to call them several times just to schedule the appointment. I was not told any details about the study (what to show up with, time that it would last, etc.) I then waited over a month for my sleep study results. When I was doing the sleep study, I didn't sleep at all and wasn't offered a sleep aid. I am now having to transfer my records because I don't feel confident these people know what they're doing. I am extremely disappointed in my experience with this doctor. I wouldn't recommend him to anyone!

the best doctor is Austin. Can tell you in any emergency or visit what is wrong, treat it and listen. He is by far one of the smartest doctors I know.

Dr. Pohl treated my son for asthma. After cutting the number of medicines my son took in half, and successfully continuing to improve my son's symptoms, Dr. Pohl then advoccated nonmedical interventions such as exercise to further reduce the asthma symptoms and improve breathing capacity and conditioning. My son has now been off asthma meds for several years and leads a very active life as an athlete, free of asthma. Thanks to Dr. Pohl for taking the time to talk to my son about healthy living habits and natural approaches to reducing symptoms and improving resilience to sinus allergies, and other triggers of asthma.

You cannot get any better doctor than Dr. Pohl. He is by far the best doctor in Central Texas and he is the best at knowing what is wrong,and getting you the correct help

You may find Dr. Pohl a bit matter-of-fact, but he clearly cares about patients more than paperwork. If you have a problem, he will treat it. If you want fawning hand holding, don't be surprised if that is what you hear from him.Very glad I found an MD who still cares about patients more that other things.
