James was respectful, but very condescending. He said "that's a pretty common occurrence" when I explained it took me over 10 years to get diagnosed, in a demeaning way he said "it's just not on our radar." He was not listening to my physical symptoms at all and instantly jumped to telling me I was going through a "depressive episode." He said "I think you and me both know what's REALLY going on." I was very emotional about my on-going physical illness and how I felt like I've been getting the runaround between my providers, being pushed on a medication that makes me very sick. I wanted some specific labs drawn, but he wouldn't order them. Since I'm a nurse he was making it clear that he didn't think I was physically ill, "you don't appear ill from just looking at you" when endometriosis is a chronic illness that many don't and choose not to understand.

Mr. Potter is the greatest. He took the time to go over everything with me. He does not rush in and out and treat you as just another patient. He is what a great medical professional should be.
