Dr. James David Rabinov, MD

I was diagnosed with a brain aneurysm at MGH. I saw this physician who was sarcastic and condescending. I went elsewhere and had excellent treatment. I would nor recommend him to any family member or a friend.

Dr. Rabinov provided me with a second opinion on my complex case. I got in to see him quickly and he offered a valuable perspective. He was kind and compassionate. Highly recommended.

Very intelligent and kind

One of the best doctors I have ever seen! Dr. Rabinov clearly explained my condition and treatment options. He also answered all my questions (and my family’s questions) promptly and thoroughly. As a current physician in training, I have met and worked with many doctors, none of which as brilliant or with as incredible bedside manner as Dr. Rabinov.

we had trouble getting to see this physician because of insurance issues. When we finally saw him he did little to explain my condition. He told me this type of aneurysm was not a type he could treat. I went elsewhere and had a great treatment and have done fine.

To the others who are reviewing: Are you sure you're talking about the same doctor? I had an aneurysm in my internal carotid artery. Dr. Rabinov coiled and stented it a few weeks ago. Everything went very well, and his bedside manner was excellent. I've been to a number of doctors over the years as I've moved around and switched insurance, and they've run the gamut from excellent to piss-poor. Dr. Rabinov is one of the few I've put in the "excellent" category.

Run as fast as you can away from him

This doctor is arrogant and rude. He did little to comfort me or my family when I was facing serious surgery. I got a second opinion and got great care at another hospital.

I agree with other reviews. This doctor is horrible. He did not care about me or my family. He did not answer questions. I went elsewhere and had excellent information and care. I would not send family to this doctor

This doctor is dangerous. He operated on my sister 3 times and the third time she died. He was evasive about the complication and he seemed to make a big mistake that the other doctors agreed.
