I went to him for years, as a teen struggling with anxiety, he said i was depressed, put ne on a medication i reacted to. When i brought it up again as an adult, he told me that i "needed to learn how to deal with life". It was a my neurologist, who finally addressed it. As a mother, my infant was very sick. Nonstop throwing up. He blew me off, told me that "babies throw up", I'm a new mom therefore "overcautious". Finally, when my child was a year old, i demanded a referral to a pediatric GI doctor at geisinger. He grudgingly obliged with an attitude of "if it will make you stop". That specialist found my child had an infection in her intestines, and megacolon. After he got her out of the woods, he said that 6 more months and she'd have been hospitalized or dead. Never once did redka apologize or admit he was wrong to ignore me. In fact a few years later, my husband went to him for severe neck and shoulder pain. Redka brushed it off for almost 2 years, then sent him to a… specialist...after some imaging, he was immediately scheduled for surgery. Don't go to this man if you have more than a sniffle, you will he ignored, treated like you are crazy.

Dr. Redka is very caring, intelligent and concerned about his patients. He is never in a rush and focuses fully on his patients. He is knowledgeable and is current on his research
