Dr. James Inho Rho, MD

Despite the long waits in the waiting room and the rude and unprofessional office staff, Dr. Rho took good care of my medical needs. That is until workers comp requested additional information on a medical procedure he was requesting authorization to perform. Workers comp telephoned the Doctors office on three consecutive days to get clarification and additional information before they would authorize the procedure. The first day, Dr. Rho was not available. The second day he was with a patient and could not take the call. On the third day one of Dr. Rho’s office staff told workers comp that Dr. Rho does not take messages from workers comp. When I received my denial letter for the procedure, I reached out to Dr. Rho’s staff. I was told I needed to contact my attorney. I explained that there was a simple fix to this denied request for authorization. If Dr. Rho were to contact workers comp the denial might be resolved. I was told he would not call and I should contact my… attorney. Per workers comp laws, the doctor can reach out to workers comp even after a denial. Not having spoken to Dr. Rho myself on this matter, I’m not sure if this was Dr. Rho’s position or if it was his incompetent office staff. Regardless the patient’s needs were ignored. I will have to appeal the denial of authorization. Which seems completely unnecessary because this denial should have been avoided with better communication.

Dr. Rho is extremely proficient, who gives his patients a no nonsense opinion of their condition. His honesty, and candor, are truly a breath of fresh air. Dr. Rho has done several facet injections of my lumbar spine, in an attempt to delay, what will be my 5th lower spinal surgery. He has my highest recommendation!

Office staff quite indifferent - lots of complaints from many of long wait times in too small waiting area with insufficient seating. Dr. Rho and Rudy are great and seem genuinely interested. Complaints of wait times fall on deaf ears and are deemed offensive.

I was referred by his comrade and his staff treated me like a criminal. Very rude, very unprofessional, complete dismissal of ethics...

Dr. Rho has helped me more than the last pain management dr I saw for almost a year, and with less medication too!! Which is a big plus!

The very best Dr. When it comes to pain management there is no better Dr. I have seen Dr. Rho over 10 years and have nothing but the best things to say, his methods are beyond just medication he is the best at laperscopic procedures to stop nerve pain.

3 hour wait time . Not enough seats in the waiting room for patients . Staff doesn't smile or show emotion. Dr. Rho has no clue how annoyed his patients are.

He is treating my son for back pain. He has been Wonderful. Highly recommend him.

I was absolutely shocked at the foul-mouthed language he used when speaking to me and to his staff. (Numerous "F-Bombs") Very unprofessional.

My mom was in so much pain, he was willing to see her right away and gave her an epi dural injection which helped her a lot. My family is so thankful for his service.
