Dr. James Cornell Rholl, MD

This is an excellent Doctor who truly cares about his patients. My wife and I have been patients of his for about 20 years. He is patient and compassionate and thorough. I can honestly say my wife and I have always had a positive experience with this doctor. He takes time to explain things in easy to understand language. You are not bombarded with a bunch of medical terms you don't understand. He has an excellently trained staff whom are caring and compassionate also. You will have an honest, positive experience with him and his staff. They have done many colonoscopies and also treated both my wife and I for upper hernias. I can't say I look forward to visiting his office because of the nature of it. I am not a fan of going to hospitals or doctor's offices. I do have total confidence that when I go to his office that I will receive the best medical care in his field possible.

I was very pleased with Dr. Rholl, polite, friendly, good bedside manner. There was only one nurse I did not get her name, she was not very kind, she was doing my IV etc. The rest of the staff was very kind and pleasant.

I showed up at Pardee Hospital in Hendersonville for a colonoscopy after having fasted 36 hours and swallowing 4 liters of vial prep fluid, only to find that this doctor's office had not vetted my insurance with the hospital, and that they would not accept it. And although the doctor was on the floor at the time and apparently aware of my situation, he never once came in to speak with either myself of my wife. I would highly recommend you find another provider because this guy's backoffice is incompetent and he is impolite. I left the hospital after 1-1/2 hrs. having no procedure performed and will be starting all over again - with someone else.
