Dr. James Peter Ritchart, MD

Dr. Ritchart makes my son smile, which goes along way with us! He is courteous, knowledgeable, approachable and always answers our questions. He does not argue with decisions we make for our son, but will always be honest with his opinion if asked. He spends an average of 20 minutes with us each time we go and always elaborates and offers additional information to our asked questions/concerns. We hope to have Dr. Ritchart for our son until he outgrows 'peds' :)

We have been with Dr Ritchart for over 2 years as he has supported us with our first child. We interviewed a number of clinics before birth and chose Central Peds due to Dr. Ritchart. Being first time parents and myself being very detail oriented, we have a fair number of questions. Dr. Ritchart is always very patient/non-rushed and understanding with us and great with our daughter.

WE HAD AN APPOINTMENT WITH DR. RITCHART RECENTLY AND HAD A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. NOT ONLY WAS HE CONDESCENDING AND RATHER RUDE, HE DID NOT ONCE ADDRESS MY DAUGHTER OR DO ANYTHING TO SOOTHE HER FEAR OF HIM AS HE ROUGHLY EXAMINED HER. HE STOOD AS FAR AWAY FROM US AS POSSIBLE, NEVER LOOKED UP FROM HIS CLIPBOARD AND MADE SURE I FELT COMPLETELY IGNORANT FOR ASKING ANY QUESTIONS. IT'S DOCTORS LIKE THIS THAT REALLY MAKE ME SAD. WHEN WE WERE FINISHED, HE DIDN'T EVEN SAY ANYTHING, HE LITERALLY JUST WALKED OUT OF THE ROOM. I HAD TO ASK A NURSE IF THAT WAS ALL. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO HIM AND HAVE REMOVED OUR CHART FROM CENTRAL PEDS COMPLETELY.
