He was the best doctor I have ever met

My husband and I have had Dr. Sandberg as our 4 month old son's doctor for the past couple months. He is very thorough, understanding, and makes his patients along with the patients parents feel comfortable at all times. We are so thankful and appreciative that we have met a doctor who has taken the time out to follow up with us at home to make sure everything is going well with our little man. I could not recommend a doctor more. My husband and I have seen several specialists because of our son and I believe that they do not come much better than this doctor. Thank you Doctor Sandberg! Our son is doing much better because of you! And this father and mother are finally able to sleep a little bit more soundly at night.

I highly recommend Dr. Sandberg. We had another GI doctor before him and we were highly unsatisfied. We took our daughter to him after a year and a half of her suffering. Dr. Sandberg diagnosed her after 1 visit and an endoscopy. His staff is polite. He is easy to get an appointment with. My daughter is now 3 and still adores him. He was great to me and my husband and even better to our little girl. He explained the issue and the course of treatment. His office is almost an hour away from us now and he is worth the drive!

I feel that because of him and his ego, he contributed to my 11 yr old daughter demise in 2005. When we got her to UNC Chapel Hill, the first thing they asked me was what took us so long to bring her there. She was in awful shape. I told them that Dr. Sandburg decided to wait just that long on purposely. He had the test results, He knew her diagnosis but he chose to keep her under his bill till he had no choice but to release her. Kind a like a practice case. In my opinion, he should NOT be practicing. I'm surprised that he still is. His bed side mannerism is just as awful.

Dr Sandberg is one of the best doctor's. He listens to your concerns, After listening to you, he gives suggestions, asks about everyday activities , and he is concerned with your circumstance with you/and/or your child. He is awesome. I attribute my child getting over her inability to gain weight and thrive. I would recommend him to anyone with any gastro or failure to thrive issue.

Dr. Sandberg has a fantastic bedside manner. He was very caring, approachable, concerned, gave very clear instructions, and was anxious to resolve the issues that we came for.
