I was doing great for about 6 months after the surgery. After that my condition slowly deteriorated and now I can only be on my feet for 10 to 15 minutes at which time my legs will go out from under me.

He needs to worry more about the patients and less about his ego

Said one thing to me and then another. I felt like he was two different Docs. I’m not for sure why I returned to him for an opinion on my neck when after my lumbar surgery I had major complications. I should’ve just left years ago and stayed away. I learned the hard way. Don’t let smiles fool you. ( this is my opinion of course)

I only gave a 1 Star rating because 0 was not an option. I have nothing good to say about Sanfilippo. I am one step away from a wheelchair after their surgeries. If I thought I would end up in WORSE shape after the surgeries I would have NEVER agreed to the surgeries.

Had 2 surgeries by Dr. Sanfillipo. Neck in 2011 and lumbar in 2012. I was only able to work for a few months past my 2nd surgery. I am now on SS Disability and my condition worsens constantly. I am unable to walk without a cane. My limit for walking with a cane is 30 minutes then I have to rest or I will collapse. I am only 56 years old.

Not the greatest bedside manner, like I was wasting his time with my questions. Frustrating...

Dr Sanfilippo has done amazing spinal fusion surgery on my 82 year old mother, my mother is truly blessed to be in the hands of this Great Healer.

Great surgeon. Honest took his time and explained all my options. I a. Pain free since recovery foom.

After the surgery, he wanted nothing to do with me. He did not even complete the follow up as I was originally told..to see the extent of how well the surgery actually worked.
