Dr. James Mark Seratt, MD

The most incompetent dr. I have ever seen, and I'm in my 60s. Does not listen to his patients and his staff is very rude. I told him for months that my neck hurt when I looked up or down, he told me not to look up or down. I went to another dr. and found out a vertebra in my neck was broken and pushing on my spine. Dr. Seratt let me suffer for 4 months with nerve pain

Dr. Mark Seratt of Duncan ran a few Cat Scans of my father and then told him while he was by himself that he had less than six months to live that he had cancer that had spread. No Biopsy, no other testing just the CT. My father suffered a brain hemmorage and died 4 days later in another hospital with other doctors. Those doctors did a biopsy. HE DID NOT HAVE CANCER. When called to tell him about the passing of my father, my mother asked what he told him and he said he wouldn't discuss that. He gave a man a death sentence and cause his blood pressure to go so high that it caused a unstoppable bleed. Had he kept him in the hospital and ran more tests to verify his diagnosis my father would still be alive. This uncaring, incompentent doctor took a oath to do no harm. He did a lot of harm not only to the patient but to the patients entire family.

I am unable to address Mark Seratt as Dr. as I would think anyone bearing that title would act as a professional who had taken the hippocatic oath....Seratt does not. It is hard to believe that Seratt remains as the staff doctor for one of the nursing homes in Tahlequah, as it is obvious that he resents going there and does so as little as possible. In addition, he makes inappropriate remarks to the residents there to show how much he dislikes being there. It is hard to trust your care or your loved ones care to one who resents being made to see you. He will never be a physician for any members of my family. If you like an arrogant, self-serving doctor, then Mark Seratt is definitely an excellent choice.
