My daughter called out to us this morning, she couldn't see, hear, or walk, We half carried, half dragged her to the stairs and called her pediatrician, we had been about to take her to his office because she has the flu and had a very brief period of not being able to see, hear or walk yesterday, not nearly as prolonged as this, he said to rush her to the ER instead, She had also had lower back pain and headaches. Her vision still hadn't come back, and she couldn't really walk, my husband got her out to the van and rushed her to the Gwinnett Medical Center ER. "dr" Shanni said she had the flu, although they didn't test her, and sent her home because we didn't have insurance. We took her to her pediatrician right afterward, and he listened to her lungs, and said "Did the ER doctor listen to your lungs?" She said yes, and he said "And he didn't say anything?" She said he didn't, and her doctor said she had very obvious pneumonia. He said there's no way he could have listened to her… lungs and NOT known that she had pneumonia. She had sudden onset blindness and deafness and paralysis, lower back pain, severe headache, tingling in her fingers, high fever, congestion, fluid filled lungs and a wet cough. "dr" Shanni said it was just the flu and that she was a little dehydrated. They sent a child home knowing she could die, because we didn't have insurance. I intend to file a complaint and criminal charges if possible. This is malfeasance. Thank you! M Funk
