Wish I would have taken the other comments about Dr Shepler DDS. They are true in reference to how he treats patients who have to rely on MEDICAID. I scheduled the appt and let them know it was emergent. Drove 30 minutes to get to their office. Arrived 40minutes early and still had to wait after my original appt time. His assistant took x rays, etc and of the entire appt I have to say she was the most positive and sincere person I encountered. She was true to light and I enjoyed meeting her. The Dr came in finally and took a look at my mouth and Exrays and by then was half way to the door when he said that I was to see a referral and then schedule a future appt to see him? I had a filling that needed addressed on a front tooth. I asked him to please repair it and he said he had 2 other patients that needed work and he wouldn’t be able to do it!! I thought I was a “patient” and I thought that I was having the tooth repaired being that I mentioned it when scheduling… appointment? I was in no way expecting him to conquer all of the other needed work that day! I still need the work done and was forced to go through all of the holidays with a half smile to no smile! It is very difficult to find a dr when on Medicaid. I have had to rely on Medicaid just recently due to a divorce and exhausting the cobra benefits and prior to that I was always on private insurance. It is very clear that this dr is picking the easy work on Medicaid patients and kicking the others to the curb! It wasn’t even 3 o’clock and he kicked me to the curb! The dr he referred me to doesn’t accept Medicaid. Dr Shepler needs to be knocked down a couple notches...to say the least! I am one to try very hard to look for good in everyone unless it is blatantly obvious there isn’t any good there. That is the case with DR JAMES SHEPLER III! Please think long and hard before you make an appt with this waste of time! Unless you want to waste your time and be treated as a second class citizen...then this is place you should be! I hate it that this stuff still goes on in the world today. Thank goodness for places to share positive and negative experience for others to read and take into consideration. Those on Medicaid need to stick together and demand MORE DOCTORS of quality care for ALL PEOPLE! Call your Medicaid insurance company today and tell them you demand more Drs to choose from! And that they need to be getting reviews from us on our recent Dr visits and getting rid of the drs who are receiving ongoing negative feedback from patients! And rewarding the good caring Drs.. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!!

Staff and Dr. was great? Made me feel so at ease!

This practice is first rate. Dr Shepler has been my physician for years and he is excellent as is his staff. I'd recommend him anytime.

If you are on Medicaid stay away from Jamie Shepler, III DDS. At one appointment he told me to "shut up" that he was doing better work than my insurance was paying for, and I shoud be thankful. And my last appointment the crown color was wrong, he told me it was my fualt for not having everything done at the sametime. Then he told me he would never make anymore crowns for me, that I could go somewhere else. Medicaid means I'm very low income, not a junk yard dog. And I still have a right to be treated with a little dignity and a little respect. (especially at my age, well over 50), and to have the color of my front teeth to match, or at least as close as is possible. I'm still a human being, just because I have Medicaid doesn't mean I should be treated like dirt. He is an arrogant "A" hole with a real "GOD COMPLEX". If you want to be treated with dignity and respect then run as fast as you can in the other direction.

He cut a hole in my lower in my lower gums that healed without closing. When I said something to him about it, he blew me off.
